ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Polish Championship is the annual event in our club conducted around spring each year. This event gathers many excellent players. The level varies from former professional players to just players for fun (and health).
At minimum there is always a ‘closed’ championship that is for players with polish origin and polish descendents. Some years there is also an ‘open’ championship for everybody.
Championships are conducted according to the ITTF laws. All referee’s decisions are final and all participants agree to abide by them. Matches will be scored as best 3 of 5 sets (11 points set) game. A preliminary round robin will be played in each event (minimum 4 players) followed by straight elimination – this will depend on the number of entries.
