The league is made out of 3 divisions with 8 to 12 players. There are not teams, there are only individually competing players. To participate in the league, a player has to pay a fee and be accepted by the League Umpire. Participation in the league is open to all payers, not only CTTC members. Players that are not CTTC members, will have to pay additional fee (eg $10 per round).
The league tournaments will be scheduled several times per year.
Finally, the league rules may be changed by the League Umpire based on new conditions.
Matches are conducted according to the ITTF laws
Matches will be scored as 4 sets (11 points set) game. Only sets are captured in the score card.
All matches have to be played in the designated period of time (i.e. month). It’s the player’s responsibility to arrange these matches.
If a match was not played in the given time, both players get 0 as won & lost sets.
Initially all players will be divided into several divisions depending on the participating volume.
All players added at the a later stage may have to play games to be qualify to a specific division.
At the end of the tournament:
The last players from the 1st and 2nd division will be moved to lower divisions.
The first players from 2nd and 3rd division will be moved to higher divisions
The penultimate players from 1st and 2nd divisions will play with the second players from 2nd and 3rd division. The match will be 3 out of 5 sets. The winner goes to the higher division, the looser goes to the lower division.
Each division will have a division secretary responsible for collecting results and fees.
